Edward T. Hightower is the founder & CEO of Accra EV (GH) LTD & EV House LTD. He is on a mission to help commercialize and industrialize the premium electric car and pickup truck industry in Ghana. He is an EV OEM CEO, global automotive executive (Ford, BMW and GM), public company board director, and published author.
Edward Hightower is an automotive EV OEM CEO, and global product creation, industrialization, and brand executive. He previously served as the chief executive officer and president of Lordstown Motors Corp., a US – based original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of electric vehicles for the commercial fleet market. He led the company’s operational turnaround, and successfully completed the development, certification, launch, and customer delivery of the Endurance all-electric full-size pickup truck. Under his leadership over 700 jobs were saved; Lordstown became one of the few new light-duty EV OEMs – alongside Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid – to bring a vehicle from concept to market; and Lordstown Endurance was selected as a finalist for North American Truck of the Year. Along with these accomplishments, Hightower was recognized as the first African American CEO of a publicly traded automaker. He also served as CEO of the EV design and engineering joint venture between Lordstown and Foxconn of Taiwan. Earlier, Hightower served in several senior new-product development, engineering, strategy, brand marketing, and P&L executive leadership roles between Ford, BMW, and GM. He also worked as a hands-on growth, strategy, operations, and M&A consultant at AlixPartners, LLP and Motoring Ventures LLC, which Hightower founded. He has also served on the boards of directors for several public, private, and not-for-profit companies. Hightower authored the book Motoring Africa: Sustainable Automotive Industrialization, published in 2018. Based on his industry experiences in China, India, South Korea, Mexico and Brazil, Motoring Africa makes the case and offers an actionable roadmap for economic development by building sustainable automotive manufacturing businesses in six of the 54 countries in Africa. Originally from Chicago, Hightower earned a BS in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

At EV House Ltd, Chris brings his experience and strategic insight to the forefront of Ghana's growing electric vehicle market as the company introduces the Geely electric brand to local consumers and businesses. He has worked with globally recognized automotive brands including Renault, JAC, Hyundai, and Toyota, contributing to market entry strategies, vehicle launches, and the advancement of sustainable mobility solutions. His passion for innovation and cleaner transportation drives his commitment to delivering high-quality EV experiences in Ghana. Before fully transitioning into the automotive sector, Chris made his mark in advertising, leading campaigns and brand strategies across sectors such as telecommunications, FMCG, and real estate. This cross-industry background gives him a well-rounded perspective on market trends, customer engagement, and business growth. Chris is focused on making EV House Ltd a trusted name in Ghana's transition to electric vehicles—ensuring that customers not only drive the future, but understand it.

Daniel is an automotive enthusiast and business professional with experience across the media, banking, technology, and automotive industries. He most recently worked as a Sales Executive at Global Media Alliance, where he focused on client relations, advertising initiatives, and helping businesses reach their target audiences through strategic marketing solutions. He also worked at Stanbic Bank in the Executive Banking Department (Platinum Centre), supporting executive banking clients and delivering high-level customer service. Daniel’s experience in the automotive sector includes working as a vehicle sales consultant at Lexton Motors and as a workshop assistant at Ashmotors Ghana, where he gained practical knowledge in vehicle sales, diagnostics, servicing, and maintenance. In addition to his corporate experience, he worked with Vina Autos, a motor vehicle service business that assists clients with vehicle servicing, damage repairs, and other automotive-related services. Earlier in his career, he also gained experience at Accolm Ghana, where he supported technology-driven solutions including student accommodation management for Ghana Hostels. With a unique blend of automotive technical exposure, vehicle sales experience, and business development expertise, Daniel brings a well-rounded perspective to the evolving electric mobility landscape. His background positions him to contribute to the growth of the EV industry by helping bridge the gap between technology, market adoption, and customer education as the world transitions toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation.

Alex Canfor-Dumas is a transformational global business executive with 16 years of experience at General Electric (GE) Company, 6 years of experience at the Black lvy Group, and 3 years at Align Technology. He is the exclusive partner for Africa responsible for expanding Comen’s innovative life support systems, medical imaging, healthcare information technology, and surgical solutions. He is Summerton Group’s President for its endeavor to deliver several state-of-the-art digital dental clinics with the latest technology and equipment, to ensure the highest quality dental health care for Africa’s growing consumer class. He built Align Technology's footprint in Africa by establishing the proper foundation across various countries via successful market launches, direct presence, and through distributors. Alex Canfor-Dumas played a key role in developing GE's footprint in Africa over 19 years, starting with GE's $20M Citizenship Project for Africa in 2004. He developed key sustainable platforms for multiple GE businesses including Healthcare, Power, Water, and Consumer & Industrial. He later transitioned into GE Healthcare's Managing Director position for Sub-Saharan Africa, where he created commercially viable businesses including start-up hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers. His performance led to the creation of a $220M GE Healthcare business over the course of 5 years, while gaining over 52% market share.

David Kwamena Bolton is a veteran ICT Consultant with over 30 years of experience bridging the technical divide between developed and developing nations. His career began with international acclaim as the UK's "Computer Whizzkid," where at just 15 years old, his medical software earned him a commendation from the British Prime Minister. Following an official invitation from the Government of Ghana in the 1990s, David pivoted to pioneering public sector computerization. His strategic influence has since spanned advising the government as a member of the Information Technology Planning Group (ITPG) to managing complex financial systems for major UK institutions like Woolwich Bank. Currently, David serves as the Technical Director and shareholder at theSOFTtribe Limited, a leading pan-African software provider. In this role, he steers the technical vision for massive installations, most notably as Project Director for the IPPD3 Government of Ghana Payroll, which managed over 500,000 employees. A multi-faceted leader, David also founded D’kaybee Productions, where he merged his technical acumen with artistic direction to produce content for international networks like Channel O. He remains a sought-after advisor for his unique ability to balance technical complexity within the Sub-Saharan African environment.

Eugene’s work increasingly focuses on the intersection of electric mobility and climate-aligned economic transformation. He has contributed to accelerating green growth ambitions through support for the development of enabling environments for electric vehicle (EV) deployment, championing policy reforms that foster low-carbon growth as well as green job creation. He brings deep expertise in convening stakeholders around transformative agendas, with a particular emphasis on aligning Ghana’s industrial ambitions with global sustainability imperatives. His leadership reflects a commitment to shaping resilient, future-ready economies that respond to both national priorities and the evolving demands of the global green transition.
